Camping Before Sparkleberry
Author Last Post
I am all in on Happy Hour, and I am hoping that I can handle the paddle without towing assistance.  Four months after reverse shoulder surgery. I will have a better idea after Tuesday's Show and Go on Goose Creek.

Anyway, I reserved site #28 in the Cypress area because I have a small camper and I like to use it.

Thanks, Don, for organizing this!

Martha

I’ll be camping Friday and Saturday nights :)

I suggest a happy hour Saturday. Is anyone else camping?

Hi Don,
We decided not to camp this year but we are happy to meet at the landing. (Instead of the rest stop)

Hi Sparkleberry Paddlers,

We will be RVing there at the campground Friday and Saturday nights.  Does the club do a group meal or two?  Or have happy hour?

Just wondering so I can plan accordingly.

I'm camping Friday and Saturday.

If you use Google maps on your phone, you should be able to put in Sparkleberry landing.

It is a “good shot” from Charleston….but Don’s idea to meet at the landing keeps a “gob” of paddlers from arriving at the same time.  If you are not camping, check the driving time in advance  to make sure you’ll arrive on time.

Which night are you camping?

Hi All!

A quick reminder to get a site at Santee State Park now if you will camping around the Sparkleberry paddle. https://southcarolinaparks.com/santee

I'll be on tent camping on site 70 in the Lakeshore Campground. The road to that side is not great so some people with campers prefer the Cypress View Campground.

We usually meet at a rest stop, but if everyone is on moard we can just meet at the launch.
