Also...
Club member Craig T Hammer who is also a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary will do a voluntary inspection of the kayaks going on the trip on Saturday. Please plan to be there a few minutes earlier than you may have planned so that he can conduct the inspection.
You should always bring appropriate gear..but especially for this Saturday, please don't forget any required item.
FYI..I'm hoping we will have time to do 2 rice field canals on the way down river and enough water to do 2 on the way back.. so if you have not planned to come, please think about joining us. Think of it as two 6 mile trips..we'll take a nice break on the sandbar by Willtown Bluff..and the canals do cut off a bit of the distance.
