Weather forecast for Saturday's L2+ club trip is upper 60's and a 5-mph wind. There is a + reading on L2 because the water is so wide open down at the intersection of the Stono and Folly Rivers. If the waves are too "sporty", we'll not go all the way to the Folly River, but head into the Kiawah River to get some miles and then stop at a beach on James Island across from the Kiawah River.
I do plan to stop, either on the backside of Folly Beach County Park or the sandbank on James Island.
