We're doing something different for the June meeting.
Lauren is doing a talk on the Shem Creek salt marsh at the marsh.The estuaries and salt marshes of the lowcountry are not just a beautiful place to paddle, but also one of the most productive and vital ecosystems on our planet. Come learn about the marsh’s important roles, its keystone species, and what we can do every day to help protect and conserve it.
Note too that we'll be halfway into the incoming tide and will be stepping into some of the higher areas of the marsh.
Sadly we won't be able to zoom this meeting.
Note that for those interested we'll be a boardwalk away from Vickery's Bar & Grill.
