Lowcountry Splash would greatly appreciate any support from our club for their 19th Annual Lowcountry Splash race.
The Lowcountry Splash is an open water swim race that consists of 2 distances. A 6 mile race starting from under the Wando Bridge on the Daniel Island side and finishing at the Harbor Resort Marina by the Yorktown. The other race is a 2.4 mile swim starting at Hobcaw Yacht Club in Mt Pleasant and also finishing at the Harbor Resort Marina.
We can utilize as many kayakers/SUPS as possible to help direct the swimmers along the course and assist with their safety. The event is Saturday morning September 26th. For anyone interested in volunteering they can either contact Mark Rutledge at 843-364-7208 or go online at
www.lowcountrysplash.com and register on the website as a volunteer. We will reach out to those that register to volunteer as a kayaker with more details.
