The Lowcountry Splash is a 2.4 and 6 mile open water swim that starts at either Hobcaw Yacht Club or Daniel Island and ends at the Charleston Harbor Resort.
This year’s Splash is Saturday, May 18th. The event is highly organized and features boats at every course buoy, Coast Guard, and kayakers and paddle boarders all along the course. It’s a fantastic race and as a swimmer, I cannot tell you how much volunteers are needed and appreciated.
