Trip this Saturday
Author Last Post
Saturday's trip is a fun trip.  With all this rain, the sandbar may be a few inches underwater, but it is a neat sandbar.  We'll be with the tide on the way down and on the way back.

Bring your lunch and plenty to drink.

The weather if "iffy' at this time.  As of right now there is a 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms.  We'll see how the weather looks as we get closer.  So please pay attention to future e mails from me about the trip.

As of today no one, except me, as registered through the club's web page to take the trip.  If you plan to come and can register through the web page, please do so. if you are having issues registering through the web page, please contact me directly at kayakcharleston@comcast.net

Looking forward to it!

Ralph Earhart

Special note; your phone map application may tell you after passing through Jacksonboro and getting on HWY 64 to get off HWY 64 on to a dirt road (New Road). Do not, continue down a few more miles and your map application will tell you to turn down Maybank Lane.  (There is also a brown sign that says "Price Bridge landing" at the Maybank Lane turning point.)

August 4 (Saturday): Horseshoe Creek to Ashepoo River sandbar loop trip. About 12 miles.

Logistics: Low tide at the sandbar is about 11:30. Meet at Price Bridge landing (GPS address:  3221 Price Bridge Lane Walterboro) at 8:45 and be ready to launch at 9.
