Directions to Short Stay
From Charleston:
Take I-26 West to exit 209 to US 52 west towards Goose Creek and Moncks Corner. Stay on US 52 through Moncks Corner until you cross over the Cooper River (Tail Race Canal).
Follow US-52 to your left and though the light. Gas station will be on your right.
In approximately 2 miles you'll see a sign on the right for Short Stay (sign on the right, Short Stay to the left). Make sure you stay in left hand lane and turn left onto Powerhouse Rd.
Turn right onto Old Black Oak Rd.
Continue until you go over the railroad tracks and come to a stop sign. You should also see a sign for Short Stay.
Turn left and you should see the entrance gate for Short Stay.
Tell the attendant you are with Lowcountry Paddlers and headed for the Edisto Pavilion. There is a $2 per person entry fee.
From Mount Pleasant (optional route, not much shorter, not much faster )
Take SC-41 N and SC-402 W to US-52. Turn right on US-52.
In approximately 2 miles you'll see a sign on the right for Short Stay (sign on the right, Short Stay to the left). Make sure you stay in left hand lane and turn left onto Powerhouse Rd.
Turn right onto Old Black Oak Rd.
Continue until you go over the railroad tracks and come to a stop sign. You should also see a sign for Short Stay.

From Summerville:
Take US-17A North to Moncks Corner. As US-17A and US-52 merge going through Moncks Corner, follow US-52.
