Training Weekend August 24-25. Act Now.

Hi Ken,
As a member who doesn’t attend meetings, I’m curious to know the thinking behind underwriting 50% of up to 10 individuals. Our dues are not that much and I know we have to pay for the website, and maybe the Christmas party. I realized that have no idea how our dues are used. Would it be possible for the treasurer to send out the treasurer’s report to the general membership? Also, I’d like to have a copy of the secretary’s minutes that show how many were in attendance to vote. The class sounds like a good class, but I'm wondering if we shouldn’t be responsible for our own registration fees. How is paying for 4-10 justified against the total membership?
Thank you for your diligence and persistence in working to improve LCP.

Friends,

Charleston County Parks and Rec. are offering instruction for an LCP exclusive event scheduled for the mornings of August 24 and 25. The curriculum would be bracing and rescues in conditions. Location TBD but probably out in the harbor.

CCPRC fee is $110 per person. Our members approved underwriting this 50% up to 10 individuals. We need a at least 4 to make and a max of 10.

I will accept the first 9 respondees (I am doing this too!).

Hope to see you out there.
