Tuesday June 4, Leave Wambaw Creek bridge at 9AM. Doing a scout trip for a planned club trip.   About 11 miles and would be an L2.

Wambaw creek bridge:  Go up HWY 17 to McClellanville and put in your GPS: 33.207648,-79.468582.  Directions:....go past the blinking light in McClellanvile on HWY 17 for 6.6 miles, turn left at the Hampton Plantation park sign (Rutledge Road) and go straight on that road…it becomes dirt Forest Service road 204..until you get to Wambaw Creek bridge.

Do NOT go above speed limit in McClellanvile..wait for the speed limit sign to change on HWY 17 before going fast.

It  takes 1 hour and 10 minutes to get there from Charlestown check your drive time..and it never hurts to be early. If you put in the latitude and longitued noted above, into your phone mapping application, it will give you your drive time...take the route up HWY 17 past McClellanvile.
Bring plenty of water and plan to jump into the river.

Let me know if you are coming.  It should be fun and we'll have shade.
