Cuckolds Creek Loop Paddle

Cuckolds Creek to Combahee River loop trip. About 12 miles.

Non-club members and member guests must contact the trip leader before the trip. Boat type, size, and paddling skills should be discussed with the trip leader.                                                               


Rating: L2+, sheltered, smooth pace

Where: Circle K gas station in Jacksonboro. Put 15600 Charleston Hwy, Round O in your mapping app.

Logistics: Low tide at the intersection with the Combahee is about 11:00. Meet at the Circle K in Jacksonboro and be ready to leave by 9:15 to proceed to the boat landing.

Note 1: The only “real good” place to get out is about 2/3 on the way back on a sandbar that could be about 2 feet underwater. It is a good place to get out and sit in the water to cool down.
