Cooper River - Drum Island

Cooper River, Circumnavigate Drum Island. About 5 miles.

Non-club members and member guests must contact the trip leader before the trip. Boat type, size, and paddling skills should be discussed with the trip leader.

Meet at Remleys Point in time to launch by 9AM. Put Remleys Point Public Boat landing in your mapping app. Rating; L2, bumpy open water crossing shipping lane. Logistics: Low tide is about 11.

Note 1: We will paddle around the island clockwise and stop at the northern end to look for fossils and wait for the tide to change.
Note 2: Minimum 14 ft. kayak. Spray skirts required
