May 4 (Saturday): Cherry Point Landing to Deveaux Bank loop trip. About 9 miles.
Trip Leader: Beth Heywood

Rating: L3, semi-open, smooth pace
Where: Meet at Cherry Point Boat Landing ( Put Cherry Point Boat Landing in your mapping app) in time to launch by 11:00 am.
Logistics: Low tide is 12:30. We’ll swim and eat on the beach and return with the incoming tide.
Plan to be back at the landing no later than 3:30.
Trip leader: Beth Heywood
Notes: Trip leader may require participants to have a skirt based on wind predictions. Enjoy the beach until the tide changes and then return!

Buck Hall Recreation & Boat Landing

May 11 (Saturday) Buck Hall Landing to circumnavigate an island between the ICW and
Bulls Bay. About 10 miles.
Rating:L3, semi-open, smooth pace
Where: Meet at Buck Hall Landing (put Buck Hall Recreation Area and Boat Landing in your mapping app) in time to launch by 9:30.
Logistics: High tide is 11:19.
Plan to be back at the landing no later than

Note 1: This is a federal landing and a fee is required to enter. Expect to deposit $5 into the “iron ranger".
Note 2: Paddle south on the ICW and out Grahm Creek into Bulls Bay on the high tide. Follow the land side of Bulls Bay north and back in via Awendaw Creek. Select an oyster bar along the way for lunch. This can be reversed, depending on the wind direction.

May 18 (Saturday): Sparkleberry Swamp Loop Trip. About 8 miles.

Rating: L1, Sheltered, slow pace
Logistics: Paddlers are encouraged to camp at Santee State Park on Friday. Everyone, campers and those who do not camp will meet at the rest stop on I-95 just past the Santee exits (this is the rest area before you cross the bridge over the lakes put “Rest Stop I 95 North Santee” in your mapping app). Meet at the rest area at 10:00, leave at 10:15 and proceed to the swamp.
Plan to be back at the landing no later than 2:30.

Sol Legare Landing

SUP Trip Monday - May 27. 2 hours. Launch from Sol Legare Landing at 10:30. (Put Sol Legare public Boat ramp in your mapping app.) Paddle up the Stono River and into the marsh on the incoming tide and return with current in approximately 2 hours. PFD and Leash are required.
