Lake Moultrie, Fish Hatchery loop trip. About 7.5 miles.
Rating: L1, sheltered, easy pace
Logistics: Meet at Hatchery Boat Ramp at 10:00; launch by 10:30. Put: Hatchery Boat Ramp Pinopolis in your mapping app. It is on HWY 6, northwest of Moncks Corner. There is a large sign for the hatchery turnoff.

Rating: L3, semi-sheltered, smooth pace
Where:Isle of Palms Marina
Logistics: Meet at IOP marina by 2:00pm Friday for a 2:30pm launch.
Trip leader: Bev Cosslett
Note 1: Plan time to pack your kayak before the launch
Note 2: Pay $20 per day ($40 total) for parking.
Note 3: Bev will coordinate food and wood and carpool
Note 4: Expect to be back by 5 PM Sunday

Santee River, from Hwy 52 Landing to Arrowhead landing. ): About 13 miles. Meet at Arrowhead Landing (1123 Arrowhead Rd. St Stephen) at 10:00, offload boats onto cars/trailers with excess capacity, and leave for Hwy 52 landing.
Rating: L2+, sheltered, smooth pace
Logistics: Lots of sandbars to stop at and swim.

East branch of Cooper River: Quenby (Ralph Hamer) Landing to Huger Landing loop trip. About 8 miles.
Rating: L1++, sheltered, slow pace
Where: Ralph Hammer Landing. Put Ralph Hamer Sr Boat landing in your mapping app.
Logistics: High tide at Quenby Landing is about 2:00 PM. Meet At Quenby Landing at 9:30 and launching by 10:00.
Trip leader: Susan Batla
Note 1: This trip requires going against the tide halfway, but the tide is only about 2 ½ feet. Should not be difficult to paddle against it and it will be helping us on our last leg when we are the most tired.
Note 2: If all goes well, we should see some spider lilies.
